Top 5 Travel Apps Performance in Germany Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps in Germany showed varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

DB Navigator maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating around 90K to 106K. Despite a slight downward trend in active users, it still boasted an impressive base, peaking at 13.4M early in the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw weekly downloads ranging from 48K to nearly 70K, with a notable increase towards the end of December. Active users hovered around 3.8M, with a rise to over 5M by the end of the quarter.

TUI | Urlaub buchen und reisen experienced growth in downloads, starting at 29K and reaching 54K by the quarter's end. Active users showed a decline from 557K to about 348K.

Dott (previously TIER) had a significant surge in downloads, peaking at 132K in late October before stabilizing to around 33K. Active users also increased, reaching a high of 280K in early November.

Finally, Airbnb maintained steady downloads, with numbers between 38K and 60K. Active users rose from 1.5M to nearly 1.9M by the end of December.
